The ACETIE

博览会

2020 is extremely difficult for many countries. The Covid-19 pandemic and international relations have brought great challenges to the global economy and people's lives. Under such a climate, Australia and China, two countries with highly complementary economies, actively promote the healthy development of trade and investment on the basis of supporting free trade. This is the right way to revive the economy and benefit the people of both countries in the post-pandemic period.

In order to meet new challenges and cater to the new situation, the ACETIE will continue to serve the Australian and Chinese businesses in a brand-new form of "20+21".

The ACETIE 2019 was actively participated by hundreds of Australian and Chinese companies and organisations, invited nearly 100 government officials, business leaders and scholars to deliver important speeches, and attracted tens of thousands of audiences and visitors. The ACETIE 2019 was reported by most of the major mainstream media in Australia and China.

The ACETIE is organised by the Australia-China Expo Inc., proudly supported by the Australian and Victorian Governments, and partnered with the Australian China Business Council (ACBC). Founded in 1973, the ACBC has branches in all the major cities across the country, and plays an influential role in the Australia-China economic and trade cooperation area as an advisor to the Australian Government.

The ACETIE organising committee is chaired by the Hon Andrew Robb AO, former Australian Minister for Trade and Investment. Mr Robb negotiated Free Trade Agreements with China, South Korea and Japan, as well as the 12 country Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade agreement and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Singapore.
